Vortex

Vortex VL/B W Engine

The Vortex VL/B W is a 100cc water cooled two stroke reed valve engine that was used in the Inter Continental A (ICA) class from 2001 onwards. Its predecessor was the VL98 air cooled reed ICA engine. It was superseded by the RVA model in 2004. The VL/C W model of the same homologation period looks very similar, but the VL/B W can be recognized by the shape of the crankcase. While the VL/B W has a completely new crankcase design, the VL/C W's cooling fins resemble the VL98 air cooled crank case.
