Vortex VA/D Engine
The VA/D was a JICA 100cc clutched piston port engine, homologated in 2004 and remained in use until the demise of CIK 100cc karting at the end of the 2006 season. It can be distinguished from its predecessor, the VA/B by the straight cooling ribs on the crankcase, instead of the bent wing pattern of the VA/B crankcase.
