Kilt was a Belgian brand of carburettors at first and later also 100cc engines.

Known engine models:

KV103, 1992 homologation CIK 102M/92 rotary valve engine (FA).
KR103, 1992 homologation reed valve engine (ICA).

A little snippet of information about the KR103 from Kilt themselves, taken from the French forums at autopassion:

"It is more than certainly a “Challenge” type engine, such as we had in France during the challenge organized by the “BRK” in Paris. The engine type is "KR 103". Unfortunately, a flood of the cellars (where we stored our archives and documents) destroyed all the homologation files that we had (!) ... and we are therefore no longer able to communicate them to you. To get a copy, you will need to contact the CIK in Switzerland. Here are their telephone numbers: 41 (Switzerland) - 223061082. Good luck! What there is to know about this engine: it is equipped with a cast iron jacket (... the "racing" engines were of the NICKASIL type ... that is with a special treatment of 0.07mm d ' thickness (made in the same bore of the aluminum cylinder) and the volume in the cylinder head has been increased ... all this with a view to a + in terms of reliability. M-S, Jean-Pierre TILKIN / KILT - Belgium."
