Bridgestone YDS
The Bridgestone YDS is a very hard compound slick tire, mainly used in prokart endurance racing. This tire is known for its extreme durability and consistency over long distances. 24 Hour races have been finished on a single set.
The Bridgestone YDS used to be the mandatory slick tire in the Dutch National prokart endurance championship "Kings of Karting", paired with the Bridgestone YDK wet tire, for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, replacing the Maxxis Enduro slick. It has also been the tire of choice in British prokart racing for years.
